About

Full-time freelance since March 1981. Contract photographer with the Sunday Times in London for 19 years until 2005. Reuters stringer in Ireland for five years until August 1998.

Based in Belfast from 1981 until 2002 with large archive of news photographs from that period. Now Dublin-based but covering all of Ireland and further afield.

Has travelled extensively around the World throughout his career, with work appearing in most of the World’s leading national newspapers and news magazines.

Fellow Lightstalker, colleague and friend Trent Keegan has today been found dead in a ditch in Nairobi. He was in Kenya shooting a story. No other details yet but our hearts will go out to his family and his wide circle of friends.
