Dexter Filkins Book Excerpted-- Disturbing Read

I read this last night and it found it deeply disturbing, but something that everyone who ever thought of covering a war might want to read….it deals with Filkin’s experience in Fallujah and the death of a young soldier who was helping Filkins and Ashley Gilbertson find a corpse to photograph, and was tragically killed himself. Its writing of the highest order.
