Dhiraj Singh, born in Mumbai, India, is a native of Benaras the cultural capital of India in the middle ages. He took to arts as his field from his high school days. A graphic designer by profession, he turned to photojournalism and documentary photography. He is set out to shoot the rich, cultural and diverse photogenic countryside of the Asian subcontinent. He has won the the third prize in Spot News category 1 at “The Asia Media Award” which was held in conjunction with IFRA’s Publish Asia 2008, Macau, China. Also he chosen for Group Photography Exhibition, Gas Project’07 feat. Doze Green [NYC] at Global Gallery, Sydney, Australia 2007. He is based out of Mumbai and is available for assignments in the South East Asia region.
